Quality Policy Statement

DALE - DLHonline is committed to providing a standard of service that fully meets our customer's needs. We recognise the importance of adopting and maintaining an internationally recognised standard of quality assurance. Using ISO 9001:2008 accreditation as the base on which we build sustained improvement for all of our activities.

Resources have been provided to ensure that all contractual and statutory needs are met and that all staff are trained and aware of the DALE philosophy of improvement through commitment, assessment, and re-evaluation.

Product documentation

All DALE products are supplied with comprehensive operating instructions. Also included for lifting and handling equipment is an EC Declaration of Conformity or a Report of a Thorough Examination which confirms the status of the product.

Additional documentation such as spare parts manuals, maintenance and repair instructions, technical drawings etc. are available on request.

The verification procedures adopted by us – Dale & Co. (Ancoats) Ltd. DLH online – as the manufacturer and supplier of lifting equipment are to the required standards or specification. These procedures meet the legal requirements to ensure that the lifting equipment is safe to operate.

*HSE published requirements:

All new work equipment must by design, construction and supply comply with one or more legal requirements when first placed on the market or put into service, to ensure that they can be used safely and without harm.

For most new products these requirements originate in EU Directives which set out common minimum European requirements for health and safety, including CE marking. The HSE website describes the key common provisions of the main European Directives, concerned with the design, manufacture, and supply of new products, particularly machinery, including:

• designing and building for safety

• providing users with relevant information
• and provides a summary of the UK law implementing these European Directives.
