With a rich history dating back to 1830, Dale Lifting and Handling Specialists, based in the Northwest of England, have been a trusted provider of lifting and handling solutions to all industrial sectors. Our enduring tradition of quality craftsmanship and customer service, established when we were chain makers to the Admiralty and as a founding member of the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association of Great Britain, is a testament to our reliability. In addition to lifting and handling equipment sales for lifting slings, shackles, lifting points, eyebolts, manual and powered hoists and winches etc., we offer a complete bespoke service for overhead lifting systems, including steel and aluminium bridge cranes, vacuum lifting systems, swing jibs, lifting davits, lifting and spreader beams - from initial site evaluation, quotation, design and manufacture through to installation and testing - our local crane services include aftercare and maintenance programmes individually designed to meet customer's specific needs with in-house and on-site equipment inspection.
Material handling requirements are catered to with a wide range of forklift attachments, drum and container lifters, trucks and trolleys, pallet handling trucks and stackers, scissor tables, and machinery moving skates.
Our specialist vacuum lifting systems are individually designed for weightless handling of boxes, sacks, food, manufactured products, machine parts, vehicle assembly and clean room requirements.
Pedestrian handrails, safety gates, mezzanine pallet gates, and deck-mounted handrail systems conform to the latest standard, ISO 14122-3:2016. They are exclusively designed and manufactured in-house in standard and customised dimensions to suit the customer's site requirements, with comprehensive instructions for simple client installation. Our mechanical design, assembled with all replaceable parts, ensures longevity and easy maintenance. In addition, we carry a large stock of tube clamps and tubes for customer assembly on-site.
