David Ayling the Global Business Development Director for Straightpoint which is now part of the Crosby Group would like to take this opportunity to introduce Staightpoint as they are new to the Crosby portfolio and you may be unfamiliar with Straightpoint products and services.
Established for over 40 years, Straightpoint offers a range of standard and custom loadcells or dynamometers for the lifting and rigging industry; all are manufactured at their factory in the UK.
Predominantly they are wireless products (either long-range 1000m / 3200ft or Bluetooth for short-range transmission to smartphones) but we also offer cabled loadcells for subsea use and also have hazardous areas approvals such as ATEX and IECEx – plus DNV type approval in place.
The Crosby global network of distributors and partners stock the products locally and we can supply technical and application support as required.
