NEW - Zeta Mezzanine Safety Pallet Gate for Locations with Low Overhead Beam or Truss at the Platform Edge.

This new model has been added to the Mezzbarriers range. It is designed to address a common problem in buildings where a mezzanine floor or work platform has been suspended from the building columns. This is usually where an overhead beam or roof truss is directly over the platform edge resulting in restricted headroom.

Innovative Design

Standard up and over pallet gates with a central pivot point between the gates have gates of the same height which compromises the headroom of both gates causing a head hazard for the operator.

By adding extra pivot points, the Zeta model can have a low edge gate and a higher inner gate to take advantage of the increased headroom behind the edge beam making a safer standing height for the operative.

Custome-Made

The Zeta safety pallet gate is custom-made to suit your location and can be made to suit standard-size single pallets or double-width for twin pallet loading or longer loads.

Of course, the pallet height is restricted by the height of the overhead beam or truss and will be approximately 550 mm less than the headroom under the beam, but by placing the pallet or load 150 mm further forward of the edge, the pallet height can be increased by approximately 300 mm, e.g. beam height 1800 mm - pallet height 1250 mm or 1550 mm at 150 mm back from the edge.

The inner gate can take advantage of the increased headroom further back usually a 2000 mm headroom will solve any head hazard issues.
