Worm Gear Models

Worm gear models have a transmission that consists of a worm shaft and wheel. When the crank handle is rotated, the worm shaft drives the wheel, which moves the cable drum. The worm gear transmission has a natural braking effect, meaning the load cannot move the wheel or the handle without external force. This ensures safety and control, as the load can be held at any desired height during hoisting and lowering.

Gebuwin hand winches are designed and manufactured in the Netherlands, with over 75 years of experience and innovation. They offer a range of sizes and capacities, ranging from 250 kg to 7500 kg., in painted or zinc-plated finishes and MR models in stainless-steel finish. WW range options to suit different applications with features such as twin drum, grooved drum, pressure roller, DW drill driveable, and WB webbing belt drum.

Gebuwin hand winches can be mounted on the floor, wall, or ceiling. ATEX certification is available and intended to be used in explosive atmospheres in the European Union. The equipment has been tested and verified by an ATEX-notified body to comply with the relevant standards and directives. ATEX-certified equipment bears the Ex-symbol and a specific code that indicates the level of protection and the zones where it can be used safely.

Models can store up to 120 metres of cable. They are ideal for situations where there is no electricity or where a backup system is needed. Gebuwin worm gear winches are known for their robust construction and easy operation.

Spur Gear Models

Gebuwin spur gear winches are hand-driven winches used for hoisting loads in various industries. They have a load pressure brake that holds the load at any desired height. They have a high-performance efficiency due to the minimal friction loss in the transmission. The cranks can be adjusted in length and are recoil-free. All rotating parts run in maintenance-free bearings. Most parts are made from steel and have been either painted or zinc-plated.

The maximum load capacity of Gebuwin spur gear winches depends on the model and the cable layer. The TL range has five models: TL150, TL300, TL600, TL1000 and TL1500. The TL150 can hoist up to 150 kg on the first cable layer and 68 kg on the last cable layer. The TL300 can hoist up to 300 kg on the first cable layer and 138 kg on the last cable layer. The TL600 can hoist up to 600 kg on the first cable layer and 276 kg on the last cable layer. The TL1000 can hoist up to 1000 kg on the first cable layer and 614 kg on the last cable layer. The TL1500 can hoist up to 1500 kg on the first cable layer and 927 kg on the last cable layer and is recoil-free. All rotating parts run in maintenance-free bearings. Most parts are made from steel and have been either painted or zinc-plated. All spur gear winches have a static safety factor of a minimum of 4.
