Haacon has a very long and rich history before it arrived at its current position as a market-leader in rigging, winching & hoisting products. The beginnings can be traced back to the year 1872 when two local brothers founded a mechanical workshop to manufacture wooden shank winches in Freudenberg, Germany.

Manual Drum Winches (sometimes referred to as ‘hand winches’) are lifting or pulling devices with a rope, strap, cable or chain wound around a rotating drum operated by a hand crank. Hand winches are usually ratchet devices or use worm or spur gears to operate the drum.This type of winch is also known as a ‘brake winch’ or a ‘brake hand winch.’’

Made from corrosion-resistant pressed steel with zinc plating, a Painted cast iron and Stainless Steel version is also available.

If it’s pulleys you need, look no further than the Stainless steel wire rope pulley with brackets which demonstrates a 500 kg capacity and comes complete with bracket. With a wire rope diameter of 5-6 mm and weighing 2kg, this stainless steel pulley is perfectly-suited for use in aggressive and harsh environments.
Rack & Pinion Jacks are perfect for the pushing, pulling, lifting and lowering of weight loads. The Wall mounted rack and pinion jack 0.5-1.0t Standard and Stainless steel is a Rack & Pinion jack ensuring the easy and secure lifting, lowering, adjusting or fixing of mechanical components, machines, windows, sluice gates etc. With a lifting capacity of 0.5 tonne– 1 tonnes, it’s a robust version with milled rack and hardened drive parts suited for both for indoor or outdoor applications.
Options include various lift heights and rack lengths, alternate cranks, different surface finishes (standard units are painted) and also stainless steel units are available in 500 kg capacity with 530 or 1000 mm lift height.
