Pneumatic chain hoists, sometimes known as air hoists, are similar to electric chain hoists but do differ in that they are powered by a compressed air feed as opposed to requiring an appropriate electric power supply.

Optional features on this hoist include pneumatic, push and geared trolleys with solid bronze wheels, rope control, load chain from stainless steel, chain container and a beam locking device for push and geared trolley.

The CPE series are highly efficient and engineered to last over the duration of a long working life. The hoists are comprised of three main component parts which makes servicing practical, simple and cheap. Available in either fixed suspension or manual and powered travel options, the motor is designed for high duty cycle and comes fitted with bi-metallic thermal protection. The motor is protected to IP54, insulation class F. The suspension options include top lug, top hook, push trolley and power trolley, so it’s all covered!
