Lewis pins are sold as a set. Two opposing pins linked together to one main lifting ring. Certificate of conformity. These Lewis pins only require 1 hole in the topside of the stone, and use leverage forces to grip the inside of the hole, rather than more freely available side mounted lifting pins.
Lewis Pins must always be used in a vertical lift and are a final positioning solution as opposed to a lifting and carrying device. For this reason, a safety sling should always be used together with the Lewis Pin, until the stone or block is close to its final position.
