Pallet Loading onto Upper Level External Loading Platform
Client: Manufacturer of exclusive corrosion and chemical resistant coatings and linings
Requirement: Pallet loading safety gate to external doorway loading platform
Problems:
- Loading 2.27 m pallets through existing covered platform with headroom 2.32 m
- Door frame at rear or platform 2.25 m high
- External location
Solution:
- Supply and Installation of a Sigma universal safety gate.
- This gate model has twin edge gates which pivot up either side of the opening allowing unlimited load height.
- The gate side frames were positioned so that the fold down inner gate could take advantage of increased height to allow pallets to pass under and when pulled down would still pass through the door frame.
- Galvanised finish for exterior use.
